Just got my first call from this number, and it's the same s**t described by many. Nobody speaks, and you cant call the damn thing back.....

Received a call from this person saying they were conducting a survey for TD bank....asking if I had conducted busines with the bank in the last few days....Who are these people?

just got a call from that number , thought it was a scam so i typed it into google and got this,

Turns out it is a scam, there has been alot of cases with people calling asking for information saying you won something or what ever it be. In my case this was a teenager or someone in their early 20's claiming to be with a publication company and said I would receive a complimentary watch of my choice, then he went on to try to get my credit card from me by offering a year subscription if I was to "help with the second year"

Its a big scam, once i called him out on it he hung up and when I called back just the dial tone.

 He tryed to ask a lot of questions to seem professional but stumbled and hesitated when it came to getting my info.

I get a call from this number every single day, it is a fax machine.  I have called the local Police, they have told me that there is nothing they can do.  I have called the number back, and the message indicates that the number is not assigned.  If I find out who this is, I am going to strangle them.The government needs to step in and stop these type of harassing phone calls, which leads me to my next point.  I am also going to contact my local MP/MPP regarding this issue and would encourage everyone else to do the same.
