Scam..., claimed to be from "Canada Revenue"..., talked fast & aggressively.., to "try" to work you into panic.., can't hear half of what he says.., doesn't say who he is.., doesn't say who he is calling for.., uses poor grammar.., people at the "Canada Revenue Agency".., likely have a better command of the English language than this person.

The Canada Revenue Agency.., does NOT call people.., they mail notices.., look on the CRA website for scams.

SCAM

Sounded like someone from India. Said I was not filing my taxes and committing fraud. Told him I thought it was a scam, he said not a scam he will call the local police for come and arrest me. I told him go ahead and he hung up.

typical scam artists. Voice was assertive, spewing crap that my accounts have been frozen so I will not be able to do my taxes.

Canada revenue will be prosecuting me due to a tax problem. No tax problem for me so it is a scam.

I received the same phone call with a foreign man yelling not only once but 3 times they called.... this has to be stopped.

Told me legal proceedings will start today if I don’t pay the money I owe, total scam I am kind of sad I missed them ;)

As above, a recorded message saying that I owed on taxes, that CRA was going to begin legal action, and that I will be contacted again soon. How exciting! ;-) I've blocked the number.

This man sounded like he was in some call centre - definitely one of those fake offices. He called and left a message initially. In the message, the man claimed to be from Revenue Canada advising me that I was in serious trouble because I owe Revenue Canada. He went on to say that legal proceedings had been started against me. I called back the number; he wanted to know my name and other details. I realised this was not a legitimate caller, so I hung up. Please do not give these scammers your details.
