Just got a call from these guys. Waited a sec, then hung up. No clue to what purpose these calls serve.

I just received a call from this number about 10 mins ago. This is odd, because I just got this number not too long ago and have ONLY GIVEN IT TO A FEW FRIENDS, NO ONE ELSE!!! So how the f**k did these a$$#*!&s get my number??? I'm with Telus, and it wouldn't surprize me if they were responsible for selling off mine and other customer's personal info to these guys to make a buck. Please note your carrier so we can make a tally. I consider this type of thing to be harassment! No company should be allowed to do this. Ponder this: If we live in a world where the corporations with the sleasiest, slimiest, most aggressive and invasive 'push' style marketting strategies are the ones who are rewarded with our dollar and our complacency to these dirty tactics, then this is a sick world indeed!

Wow, here's a simple idea guys - CALL THE NUMBER BACK. God. Common sense, no?It's some telecom company trying to sell you long distance phone plans. Lot of static. Just kindly ask them to remove your number from their calling list. It's that simple.Sheesh.
