I have no clue who is calling from this number, can anyone help me?

Scams...  All people who receive a call from GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL, 1490 Denison St, Markham ON, should immediately report it to the FRAUD SQUAD..  just dial 911 and for the Fraud Department...
These low life scums should be put out of business...  If people fail to act, this scum will flourish...

I have been receiving multiple calls a day from this company.  It is a recorded message asking for a name that sounds like Marg or Aim Jones.  They say it is not a solicitation call and the are calling regarding an important business.  They then leave a 6 digit reference number and to press any key to speak to an agent.  The company never identifies themselves.  

I have been getting these calls daily for over 2 weeks (about August 20th) and finally got fed up.  I have filed a complaint with the CRTC as an unwanted and harassing call.

I came home from work today and there were 2 messages on my machine (the identical ones as before) so I called back the number. It was picked up by a machine (saying that all their agents were busy) and I left a nasty message advising that I had reported them to the CRTC and reminded them that the CRTC has started to fine companies.

this is a brand new phone number that I just activated.

i got similar calls form two different companies 2 hours apart...

both numbers appear  on this site

i called this one back on the displayed number and the person who answered refused to disclose the nature of the call and attempted to extract personal info from me. She did say the name of the company was Global.

I get this all the time too! they start phoning at 8am everyday, just get a dead tone, to wait for response

We live on Vancouver Island and they call us around once a week and have so for around 2 years.  When I told them to remove me from their calling list they hung up on me.

I already complained to CRTC, at least 3 months ago, and still nothing.

I get the calls at home and not on my cell phone, but I do believe they are hired to use up people's minutes on their plans.  What else would it be?  It is not a legitimate business.
