Unwanted Mystery Call from: (905) 413-8661("Ministry Licence Rep")Hello, All:  I've tagged this call as "Event Reminder" because buddy(on an AutoVox MSG) said, "This is not a solicitation call. A Ministry Licence Rep. needs to speak with you *immediately*.  Contact our office at 1-+1 877-234-1834 to speak to a Ministry Licence  Rep.".       As far as I know(and GOOGLE cannot verify) there is no such entity having anyone with the title "Ministry Licence Rep."(at least not in Ontario - or anywhere in Canada, for that matter - near as I can tell).       I've REC'd calls from this number before(several SEVERAL tymes in the 2 or so yrs I've had this home/landline telephone number).  I've seldom answered their calls; but today's the 1st tyme they've left a MSG in my VoxBox.     Buddy has a very official yet pleasant voice & demeanour(only "mildly threatening" with his emphasis on the word "immediately") but come on, "Ministry Licences Rep."(not even the full title of "Representative", lol)?  Two words that will catch a call-recipient's ear, perhaps alarming him/her and compelling him/her to return the call to the "rep." at the 1+1 877-234-1834 number cited in the MSG.     Plenty of Ministries in Ontario/Canada handling a variety of different licences but no ONE Ministry SPECIFICALLY DEDICATED to ANY and/or ALL LICENCES. {T'yeah, 'ziff any government's bureaucracy could/would be so streamlined and/or simplified! lol} Thanks for Everyone's support here & in other such forums.  Perhaps together, we can convince the Provincial/Federal/Territorial governments to LEGISLATE these shysters out of business/commission! ~WhyNoLegislation?

I received calls from this number and apparently Global credit...there are different categorical there that helps different company's...I told them that I already went bankrupt (discharged in July 2011) so I do not have debts to pay!!! To take my number off the list and they do not...I contacted my trustee and they told me to call back and ask for a supervisor and to give the supervisor my name and that I had my number recently changed and let them know if the calls still continue that I will be calling the police to have them charge for harassment...

I received several calls for somebody else from this number. ?When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.
