They called my cell phone comfired my name and asked my date of birth, then the woman told me to call back another number, I asked why she didn't answer, so I refused to call back and blocked their phone number. I think some one should stop this type phone call, very dengrous and very bother, bad company, now they know my date of birth and name and cell number, hope no other bad things happen.

Why does this number keep calling me. Saying I need to varify my info my name and date of birth. I told him I won't give him that info and he said he will just keep calling. I told him he can send me whatever he needs in the mail.

They call and a recording says "Please hold we are trying to connect." I hung up. I do not know anyone in area code 905.

I get calls early in the morning . A recording comes on & says hold we are trying to connect. Then comes back on & says sorry can't connect & hangs up. I'm getting sick of it.

they call constantly and don't leave messages. don't know how they got my phone number. it's crazy.

This is for Global Credit.  They consistently call my home and hang up on my answering machine.  So, playing by their rules, I continuously called them back, dialing *67 before the 1 + phone number (this conseals your caller ID on their end) and simply said nothing.  I did this for over an hour and was more than thrilled to discover that they soon turned on their answering machine.  My logic is this:  They must enjoy the harrassment as they have no problem dishing it out to others.  I strongly suggest that others also impliment the above steps in dealing with Global Credit.  Here is also an additional number they can be reached at:  (905) 413-8799.  Have fun!!!!!!

I am getting the same messages as described earlier.  I answered the first time because I thought it was an outbound call from AT&T Customer Service which legitimately uses 905 numbers.  The first call had the recording about "Press 1" followed by a long tone as though it were pressing 1 itself to make the message continue.  The second call was a live male voice trying to sound mean about all this "non-compliance" garbage but then he forgot himself at the end of the script and said something polite like "please" or "thank you" and sounded nice as he disconnected the call.  These are just a bunch of idiots in some call center in Ontario and they can sound as intimidating as they like for all I care, I'm filing Chapter 7 and they can all drop dead because they've got no legal standing.

Got a call from a guy who asked to speak to me.  He said he's from Global and has some business with me. He then asked for my both date.  I said, "global who"?  He said, "global".  I said, I don't know any "global" and I'm certainly not giving you my birthdate.   I hung up.  I later called the number from a different phone and it sounded like some collection company. Again I hung up.  I later reported the call to RCMP.  Identity theft happens by giving birthdate out.  Don't think so!   Find another sucker.

Global Credit has been calling our number trying to reach someone who lives 2 doors down!  They don't even have the right person or apartment!!

These people have been calling almost once a week for two years now leaving me messages about someone names Chris with various last names. I have had this phone number for 15 years, it's a SIM card cell phone. Whenever I ask to have my phone number removed from their list they take all of my information name, address, phone number, date of birth, ect. and they say that they cannot find me because my number has already been removed. I HOPE THEY ALL BURN IN [***] HELL. They are so rude and tell me "it's not our fault", they leave long messages filling up my answering machine and are constantly wasting my calling minutes. I've never had a debt problem and don't even own a credit card.

This number will call every so often and never leave a message.  Today however, my voicemail picked up something before they hung up.  Could hear a man say the "C" word.  Reading various websites with comments about this number, I am glad that I do not answer.
