They called my cell phone comfired my name and asked my date of birth, then the woman told me to call back another number, I asked why she didn't answer, so I refused to call back and blocked their phone number. I think some one should stop this type phone call, very dengrous and very bother, bad company, now they know my date of birth and name and cell number, hope no other bad things happen.

Why does this number keep calling me. Saying I need to varify my info my name and date of birth. I told him I won't give him that info and he said he will just keep calling. I told him he can send me whatever he needs in the mail.

They call and a recording says "Please hold we are trying to connect." I hung up. I do not know anyone in area code 905.

i have a simple solution - if i do not recognize the number calling, it goes to voicemail

I get calls early in the morning . A recording comes on & says hold we are trying to connect. Then comes back on & says sorry can't connect & hangs up. I'm getting sick of it.

they call constantly and don't leave messages. don't know how they got my phone number. it's crazy.

Someone called my mother's EX in laws of 10 years ago supposedly looking for her recent husband.  I called the number back and acted like I was my mother.  They were talking yadda about him owing 8000$ to Washington Mutual before they closed or something like that.  Ok they didnt ask me any information, they just took my word that I was my mother.  Also, they sent no mail to their house or called his OWN relatives so why would they be calling my moms ex in laws?  There are other websites saying this number is a FRAUD.  Something needs to be done about these scammers trying to get money off of people! 1-866 numbers are free numbers given out to anybody wanting to start a business!!!

These idiots always call during work hours so we're never home. Since they won't say what or who they are calling about except to say some b***s*** about a contract non compliance issue that they only have a 48 hour authorization to contact us about (trying to make it sound like if i call I will somehow be able to collect money in some law suit or something). Obviously I don't fall for this nonsense. I called them back after work and left a message telling them that they are calling the wrong place, that they are probably trying to reach some woman who used our phone number (who we are constantly getting calls for from creditors) and to stop calling us. Then I dialed *60 which on most phone services triggers your call blocking feature, followed the prompts, programmed their number and voila! No more jack***es from Markham, Ontario calling me.

I got a call on my cell phone last night at 9pm from (905) 413-8660. I didn't answer it and HE (little/immature man trying to sound big & imposing) left a message for someone, he did say who he was calling for "I have information on my desk about a non-compliance to communicate....blah, blah, blah...in order to resolve please call +1 866-274-8496 during "business hours"....HA - he called me a 9pm EST...the FCC should shut these people down.

Global Credit has been hassling us about some guy we knew 20 years ago that put me down as a contact. I have no idea where he is or how to get him but they keep calling and calling.
They are so stupid I have been putting them on hold to make them wait till they hang up. They started sending automated calls that say I must call them in 48 hours (like that will happen) if they read this it is not a contacts responsability if you are stupid enough to give credit to a crack head to tell you anything and you could be sued for harrassment.

Last night i received a call from a man saying that I need to call him within 48 hrs to help him with some papers on his desk. He said that it is a Non-compliant to a contact agreement and that he is allowed 48hrs to establish contact that is pertinent to resolution.He called from 1-(905) 413-8660.Asked me to call 1-+1 866-274-8496.someone needs to stop this!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting the same messages as described earlier.  I answered the first time because I thought it was an outbound call from AT&T Customer Service which legitimately uses 905 numbers.  The first call had the recording about "Press 1" followed by a long tone as though it were pressing 1 itself to make the message continue.  The second call was a live male voice trying to sound mean about all this "non-compliance" garbage but then he forgot himself at the end of the script and said something polite like "please" or "thank you" and sounded nice as he disconnected the call.  These are just a bunch of idiots in some call center in Ontario and they can sound as intimidating as they like for all I care, I'm filing Chapter 7 and they can all drop dead because they've got no legal standing.
