I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.
They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

left a message stating i should press 1.  i hung up and called the number back and nothing happened.

My advice is not to call this number back. The call is coming from Ontario, considered by most telephone companies as an international call charge. So unless you have this feature or your family lives there, ignore it; is going to cost you big money. Some scam artists will use your phone number to charge your already scanned personal info. So be careful.

I keep getting calls from this number. It tells me to call a 1-877 number I refuse to dial it. I hope this person (sick-o) stops this....

I have received my phone bill with charges from this number stating that I had called it. I looked up the number, and there was no information provided. So I called the number from my cell phone and it was a company called global. They were looking for my sister who doesn't live with us. I had asked him if he had received any incoming calls from my house phone, and he had told me no. I told AT&T what he had said, and they were still going to charge us for the call. Watch your phone bills for this number!!!!!!!!
