Before we jump the gun, the reason you'r receiving these kinds of calls is simple: 1. You have a recycle number( a bad debtor changed their number to probably avoid paying their bills and you got that#) 2. That person their calling for regarding the business matter in their office(unpaid debt): is someone you know, using your number as their contact number in a contract with a service provider or a creditor.(almost always).I work for Global Credit and Collections as a bailiff, the company is a collections agency, form my understanding everyone here seems to all of a sudden forget what a collections agency do; they collect outstanding debt for companies people(maybe you yourselves) owe. The reason we exist is because of individuals, who sign up for something they can't afford. I speak to almost 130 person a day trying to clear their debts, because now they need that mortgage, credit extension or car loan and guess what the banks black flag them why because their incapable of reading contracts and paying their bills.On the other side of the coin they are people who will use a product or service and refuse to pay for it by trying to hide, changing their numbers,screening their calls or having a family member,parent or loved one(gullible individuals) do it for them.So why hate the system, that helps people fix their lives, by providing them the necessary tools to repay their debts, because you see it there for a reason, its there for you and me.

This number is Global Credit and Collections, they called my cell phone and a message came up saying "Trying to reach this number..."  I held for over 25 minutes.My policy now is, if a company isn't willing to display their name then I don't answer it.

some fake a** company doing some phishing scam.  Time to report this a**hole to the police

Claims that I have not responded to a matter which will be escalated if I do not return his call within 48 hours.
