Keep getting calls from collection agency because someone gave my phone number.  Found out by reverse look up it was Global Credit & Collection Inc, out of Markham, ON.  They use various numbers.  I have told them they have the wrong number, but they keep calling.  
Do I have any legal rights - surely this is harrassment?
Who can I contact to stop this,I have spoken to someone at the company a few days ago and they assured me my number had been removed... yet today I get two more calls... different people, same company.
I can call block this (at my cost) but they use multiple numbers.
Please let me know what I can do, thanks.

This number is Global Credit and Collections, they called my cell phone and a message came up saying "Trying to reach this number..."  I held for over 25 minutes.My policy now is, if a company isn't willing to display their name then I don't answer it.

I get calls from Kevin everyday on my cellphone. Did some checking and it is Global Credit and Collections. Traced their number to +1 877-305-2079 and called them from my home phone so I could block my number. Still couldn't get hold of a human, just a machine that said to leave my name, address, phone number and reference number and someone would call me back. I DON'T THINK SO!!
So I filed an online complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Services and now we'll see what happens.
I don't owe a cent to anyone so why the hell would a collection agency call me and if they want to talk to me, why don't they?
Damn scam artists.

Get the same msg from that do***e bag Kevin.  I get at LEAST one call a day from them.  I'd Kevin to forcibly insert his business matter up his anus.

It SAYS it's a credit collections company, but that's totally bogus.  I'm going to try reporting it.  Maybe to the BBB.

i get the same messsage ,Kevin says he has a file on his desk and this has to be dealt with within 48 hrs ,?? who the heck are they ???
