Keep getting calls from collection agency because someone gave my phone number.  Found out by reverse look up it was Global Credit & Collection Inc, out of Markham, ON.  They use various numbers.  I have told them they have the wrong number, but they keep calling.  
Do I have any legal rights - surely this is harrassment?
Who can I contact to stop this,I have spoken to someone at the company a few days ago and they assured me my number had been removed... yet today I get two more calls... different people, same company.
I can call block this (at my cost) but they use multiple numbers.
Please let me know what I can do, thanks.

I keep getting calls for my boyfriend from LEONA. Saying that its about a matter that has esclated and needs to be addressed within 48hours.  But they and she has been calling me for weeks.

I get calls from Kevin everyday on my cellphone. Did some checking and it is Global Credit and Collections. Traced their number to +1 877-305-2079 and called them from my home phone so I could block my number. Still couldn't get hold of a human, just a machine that said to leave my name, address, phone number and reference number and someone would call me back. I DON'T THINK SO!!So I filed an online complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Services and now we'll see what happens.I don't owe a cent to anyone so why the hell would a collection agency call me and if they want to talk to me, why don't they? My policy now is, if a company isn't willing to display their name then I don't answer it.
