just got a call from this phone number on my cell phone. didn't answer and didn't leave a message..

Collection agency - Capital One / Global Credit

For about 5 months now I have been getting DAILY calls from this or a simial 905-area code number... all with the same threatening, ominous messages left behind...  Calls can start as early as 7am... and got on elast night at 11:15pm !!!  I called the number back once... NOT the toll free one they ask you to call... and got a young man - I asked what this was in regards to... and he got very persistent that I MUST pay them $50/month toward my capital one card... I explained that I already pay $30 a month via auto pay on the card straight from my bank... he bagan to berate me telling me that it is his job to COME AFTER me if I don't PAY THEM this amount of $$ - I explained that I was not in a position to pay more... and to discontinue calling me as I AM currently paying my bill... and that this was lousy customer service... he LAUGHED and said 'excuuuuse ME, but you're NOT a customer - YOU'RE a consumer... ' I said well I'd like to speak to a supervisor... he wouldn't 'put me thru' so finally after arguing back and forth with him another 10 minutes I said well YOU'RE an a***ole and hung up.  I now REFUSE to asnwer or return these phone calls, no matter HOW persistent they can be...

I received a call from this same number a few days ago and some guy by the name of Robell or similar asked to speak to our granddaughter who does not, and has not lived at our home. He called her by name and said something similar to the above comment about a law suit and deeply personal, blah, blah....I let him talk but then hung up without a reply from my end.  No other calls from that number have come in. I certainly will not return this call. Thank you for this service you provide.

This number has been calling me as well but they as for my Dad about "an urgent matter"  these people of no life!!!! I now just ignore it hopefully they will stop calling me

Got a call from this number which was automated message, too fast to even comprehend or write down the call back toll free number... but I guess, must be from collection agency.... As I've got this new phone number recently and have received few calls from people looking for some other person... guess someone who had this number earlier they might be trying to contact.... anyway... now that i know.. will let it go to voicemail....
