Talked to "manager" who said his name was "Jack Wilson" from "Solo Home Services" at 451 Eglinton in Toronto.  Offered duct cleaning services for $180.  Despite having received more than 50 calls for many months about duct cleaning, this caller claimed to have never called me before, blaming my previous calls on the "more than 50 different duct cleaning campaigns underway in Ontario."  Due to these calls, I put our phone number on the Candadian "do not call " list back in June.  But that has had no effect.  This caller confirmed that they do not use the "do not call" list, and that they got phone number from phone directory.  But, he asserts that the list does not apply to him because he does not charge callers on their credit cards during the phone call, so he does not consider himself to be a "telemarketer."  (Huh?).  I filed a complaint through the web site of the Canadian do not call list (www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca), as have many others, but I've not heard of that agency actually doing anything about the complaints.  So, I'm not optimistic.
