I spoke with my neighbor and they recieved the same notice.

I have contacted the peel regional police and they recommended contacting the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre as well.  There is no reason for an individual to spend the money to print out these "delivery forms" and pay to have someone post it on doors unless there are ulterior motives.

I live in Brampton and I got this notice on July 26th, 2011 and i was expecting a package to be delivery July 26th so i assumed it was that, but i called more than 10 times and left messages for them to call me back about the package, but no response and same thing phone rings and they say leave a message. To top it off i never received my package and im having it re delivered.......this does worry me now that im reading all these post.

Got the same slip. It sounds like a scam. Possibly a very elaborate way to case a house. They figure if no one calls back it might be a good target!

I am going to ask my neigbhour if their security camera recorded anything.

I got the same notice yesterday...I decided to google the number before calling, thanks for posting. I'm tossing the message in the bin now :-)

I WILL BE WATCHING  THIS PERSON WHO IS LEAVING THIS ECOCAN NOTICE I HAVE TIME IN MY HAND IF I CATCH THIS PERSON OR PERSONS I WILL HAND HIM OR HER TO POLICE AND LET THEM DO THEIR JOB. I ASK ALL BRAMPTONIAN TO DO THE SAME.

I also got an "ECOCAN NOTICE" taped to my front door. Appears to be a courier delivery slip, but only the date was filled in. States to call this number within 48 hours. Didn't call.  Assumed it was another scam.
