I'm registered with the Do Not Call list, but these people managed to slip through anyway.

They're still at it. Just received a call and they hung up when I answered.

The DNC and similar systems do work, but the major loophole is that calls coming in from overseas are not required, nor are a whole range of people are exceptions (charities, newspapers, people that you ahve done business with in the past, etc.)This is undoubtably a robo-dialler that goes on to the next number if there isn't an immediate response. Moaning to the DNC people and Bell/Rogers/etc. won't work since they are spoofing their phone numbers.My suggestion is that you get a real person on the line and pull out your old trusty Fox whistle or the airhorn from the boat and give them a good long blast afater talking in a whisper to have them turn the volume up full blast.
