Received a call from this number--didn't pick up, since "Unknown caller" . They left a message--free all-expense paid cruise, just answer a survey. They did have a number to push to decline and be taken off their list. Hope it works.

Oh Boy!NOW HEAR THIS!! NOBODY SELLS YOUR NUMBER!!. Have you not learned anything from this site???It is random digit dialing. They don't know who you are from a hole in the ground. Their computer makes a list of potential numbers to which they apply various area codes. (A lot of these computer generated numbers aren't even in service as residential or business numbers.) Then some computer dials a whole bunch of the numbers. As soon as you say "hello" the call is routed to a 'live' operator (aka 'criminal'). Other people like you rage at the Do Not Call list and complain that it t work because they got this call. The thing is....criminals have no respect for the law. So just because the DNC says you may not call the people on the list doesn't mean criminals will follow the law. And mostly....they aren't calling from Canada anyway...so no obligation to follow our laws.

got a call from there as well. It only rings once. If you call it back, you will be charged. I use Rogers, Rogers makes profit from these calls and this practice should be illegal.Don't call this number, it is an add!

In BCThe problem is the cell carriers ( telus) in this case made their cell phonebook numbers available to the public so anyone can buy them.Guess who's first in-line to purchase our cell-phone numbers...Guess who's making money from our annoyed a**'s and probably the only reason they released those numbers to the public.....I'm sure though, it's their ( cell carrier's) belief that it's for OUR benefit, not their pocket book...
