Dont know why they called. Did not leave a msg

This number has come up on my cell for the last few days and since no name appears I won't answer the call. They do not leave a message. When I called this number back it goes to a recording stating that it is Scotiabank and they're sorry they missed my call. Since I am not a customer of this bank it is doubtful that it is legit.

I just got a call on my personal cell from that number and it was a young woman on the other end asking for my father by first and last name. I asked why would you want to talk to him, she replied that she had a message for him and was he there, I replied that I have a dad with the same name but she has called my personal cell (I am 46 yrs and my dad is 75 and haven't lived at home for ever, so I couldn't figure out how my phone # was associated with my dad's name). She replies that "this is the contact # we have for him but, owe, um I have another number list here so sorry to bother you, bye"  and hangs up.I found this very weird and will contact my dad asap to advise/warn him.

Thanks for the info. I got a call from that same number yesterday morning. No message was left so I didn't bother calling back.
