    After reading about this number online, I contacted "Scene.ca" and here is the email I got back from them:

    ok here's the deal. It is Scotiabank, and if you have an account with them you will on 'full advertisement' with them UNLESS you yell at them that you don't want anymore of their harassing calls anymore!  Then they'll put a notice in your account to 'do not call' and apparently the manager gets an email as well that you're requesting to be taken off their daily pestering calls!  They called, I told the guy off, saying why are you calling me again, that they had called a week ago and I told them never to call me again.  The guy just sat on the line not even answering me so I hung up.  I called back and that's when I found out about the advertisement thing on our accounts.  I told the rep that if they had a special promotion then why don't they leave a voicemail instead of calling constantly every single day at the same time, because by definition thats harassment.  Of course she didn't have an answer to this.  I told them congratulations that they just lost me as a customer and that I would be closing my account with them and that I'd tell anyone else that uses Scotiabank to do the same.  Stand up for your rights, and don't let this behaviour continue.  Ignoring the calls doesn't make them stop, it just encourages them to call more often.
