This number has been calling week at the same time (5pm). they called me at 5pm again today but missed it so i called it back. it was scotiabank but i couldnt get a hold of anyone because it was after business hours. why would they call me when they are closing :S Just recieved the call. I answered "Hello" and it repeated "Hello". Thought I'd Google the number, and here I am. Got back to back calls from this number today, immediately searched for the number, as always, this site popped up.
I have called Scotiabank to have my name removed from their call list, and they say it will take 2 months. If I continue to receive calls, I will close my account. I'm not interested in their poopy scene points, and their service isn't really that great anyways.
I just googled the number and this came up. I am so happy that many other people are receiving these calls so it is not just me. (i'm not happy that they are calling but just that I am not alone). I wondered how they got my number but a light bulb just went off in my head when you said scene card. hmm. So get this. I call Scotiabank a week ago and tell them I don't want anymore of these calls. This was my second time doing this so I made it clear that I did not want ANY calls EVER NO MATTER WHAT!! I even told them not to call meif they suspected fraudulant activity on my account!! Just to be extra sure I changed my phone number in the system to something I made up out of my head. I was told that they 100% for sure, were not ever going to call again,, especially from the telemarketing dept.Of course, I get a call about 20 minutes ago asking me if I would like a pre-approved credit card!! I confirmed that it was the bank calling and not a 3rd party compnay acting on behalf of the bank. I called the bank back and they confirmed that I had a do ot call notation on my account. I am furious they did not follow that direction.I will cancel my account tomorrow and they will never ever get any of my business again. I also arrange business financing and I would sometimes use them as a funder. This also will never happen again. I encourage everyone to blacklist Scotiabank. I will now post a video on youtube about this.
