After reading about this number online, I contacted "Scene.ca" and here is the email I got back from them:

tHANK YOU, MR HARPER. YOU ARE TRULY SCUM. THESE POLITICIANS MUST GO Scotia Bank trying to get you to sign up for their Scotia Momentum credit card with some low interest rate, or try to sign you up on a line of credit.Pre-approve this or that...This should be the real deal company, since they sounded like they knew a lot about my credit history. These people call me 3 times in a few hours. Each time I just quickly pick up and hang up to stop the ringing. It's calling me everyday now but when I pick up, there is no one on the other end. If this is Scotiabank or their affiliates, why would you be stupid enough to harass me everyday trying to sell me same thing and when I pick up, it is dead silence too? If this is scene.ca related, I just unsubscribed everything. Hope it works, but I doubt it. This number calls constantly at all different hours anddays. Could not get off the call list so I assigned a silent ringtone to it and problem solved;)http://www.iphonefaq.org/archives/971156 I called back, and despite the fact that the guy who answered was a Scotiabank rep and the automated system thanked me for calling Scotiabank, he insisted Scotiabank doesn't do automated telemarketing calls. Uh huh...
However, he asked if I had a Scene card, which I do (not the credit card, just the ID card), and said that was probably why I was called. He said he'd make a note of my info not to call me (which could take 30 days to kick in), and recommended going to scene.ca and unsubscribing from whatever contact methods I didn't want.
I did that, so we'll see if it stops, but I know I sure as hell did not agree to receive telemarketing calls and other crap when I signed up.
