After reading about this number online, I contacted "Scene.ca" and here is the email I got back from them:

I missed the call and no message
I don't have an account with them and get a call every other day lately which I don't answer. I agree with the person above that it's SCENE card related. I'm sure their privacy disclosure probably says something about sharing our info with select partners and scotia is a known Scene partner. Im still getting more calls from this number and I am sick of it.I finally said do not call i get way to many and the person on the phone finally said i make a note of it.. Im so angry just for signing up for a scene card I changed the preferance on my scene account and still i have calls..boo I just got the call too. Like two minutes ago and also googled it
I read some of the comments and can't believe that this number has been annoying people for two years...
I get a call at least once a day from this number. I called the number back and it is Scotiabank. A few months ago I got a Scene card for the movies. Ever since, they've been trying to get me to sign up for a credit card by sending me applications in the mail. I can only assume, they're trying to get me to do this on the phone as well, but I don't ever answer.
