These guys should be taken care of. If I get an address, I will be happy to visit with the boys It's a collections agency office from what I gathered... Weekly calls with a msg saying i owe money and give a refrence #. I dont owe anything and im not calling back. They dont even have my name I was getting calls from these jokers for a five-year-old $45 ambulance bill which I paid a month after I got the bill. Somebody must have forgotten to post the payment, the hospital can't provide me with records, and I don't keep invoices and CC statements for that far back.
My solution? I moved my phone number over to pennytel.ca, a VOIP provider, and now I can "route" the calls that match certain caller-id to a special voicemailbox with an outgoing message that explains the situation. They have the option of leaving a message, but they haven't done so yet. And now I'm paying less for my phone.
(I am not associated with pennytel.ca, I'm just a customer. There are other VOIP providers who may offer similar service, but if you switch your number like this, beware that you may lose 911 access from your phone.)
I don't owe anybody any money yet this company has my name and a private number I never disclose to any one. Just left them a profanity filled message after countless phone messages.

Every province has rules that collection agencies must follow. Check with your provincial government. If you are receiving calls and they have the wrong number they must stop if you ask. If you owe money, NEVER acknowledge you owe money. Ask them to sue you. They have to stop calling and take you to court. Most provinces have a two year time limit to sue but the clock can restart from the last time you admit to the debt.
Scammers probably using Facebook or some other social media to gain phone numbers you gps and personal information for the purposes of identity theft I swear at them and hang up. Katherine leave me be and get a life. I have received sooo many harassing calls from this number.
At first they said I owe money and to call back and reference an account #
I call back and they ask for my name I gave it to them and he said I don't have your info can I have your address and phone number... NOPE I didn't give it so he hung up.
Then they called back a day later saying they have set a law suit and to have my lawyer contact them.. Me being a young female I got a family lawyer to call and they hung up again...
Collections Bureau of Canada is how they identified themselves to me. It turned out to be for a mistaken collections matter which I had resolved 1 month earlier (the vendor didn't proceed with pre-authorized billing that had been set up for more than 25 years and has always been working properly -- I always pay my vendors promptly). The gentleman I spoke with on the phone reversed the interest charge after seeing the notes on his computer that the matter had been previously resolved.
My overall impression of this agency that called me is that they are helpful, professional, respectful, and efficient.
At our place of business, we have received 2 calls in as many days, no answer when we tried to call it back the first time, now I just hang up.

Getting two calls per day for a month or so. I simply block the numbers they use and at best they are directed to leave a message. I never answer a number I don't know. I put all unknown callers into Google, and have never failed to find a source and or NAME. Michelle Galant from the credit bureau keeps calling me for an account my ex made and I co-signed however they removed his name and left mine. She is rude and demanding. I refuse to pay for someone else's account. I may have co-signed and am willing to pay for half of the account but not his portion. I have a brand new number and they have called several times already with a different name obviously...I phoned them back and told them I am providing my number so they can take it off their list and not contact me again as if they do I will charge their company with harassment...she quickly hung up and I heard a dial tone!! These jokers keep calling about a debt from 9 years ago. It was for $ 323.00 and it was paid about 8 years ago. They are so stupid to think that I intend to pay a debt which was already paid. They keep asking for proof of payment, but who keeps records for 8 years on a bill that was such a small amount. Anyway I enjoy having fun with these jokers. I always tell them that I'm just going to get my credit card to pay the bill and leave them on hold. After about 5 minutes they hang up. Bottom feeders!!!! They have been calling me for about a month. I know for a fact all my accounts are closed or paid in full. Never had anything outstanding and I have excellent credit. I called them back and they asked for my address. So I gave them my current address, apparently it wasn't what they had on file. So I told them I don't remember an old address I've lived here over 5 years and there must be a way for me to confirm my identity. The guy got so frustrated he say "Sorry, then we can't proceed any further" and hung up on me! I've spoken to reputable collections companies before on behalf of a family member... and they would definitely find a way to work with you and collect legitimate money owed. I smell a SCAM ....100% These people left me a message saying they were the City of Toronto, that I should call and give the reference number 9779998, and they gave their address as 1450 Fireside Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2M5 For about a year, I have been receiving calls from these people about an accident I had about 5 years ago. They told me that I didn't have insurance and that I owe money. I checked with my insurance agent and they tell me that it's a scam. I also have Equafax send me a report once a month. Nothing has ever shown up on my credit report. So whenever they call, I call back and leave a message telling them to "sue me" They haven't yet. I have been called by these people numerous times for months. There is never a live person on the other end - they either put me on hold to wait for someone (I don't wait), or there is an automated message telling me to call them about a credit issue (I don't call). I'm very sick of these calls. They are a collection agency with the wrong number. they have been told its the wrong number for years. yet they are still looking for the same person at the wrong number.
Obviously unprofessional incompetent idiots.
I get a call from these people asking me for a phone number and I told them that they called me so you should know it. A loot of scam site will ask you to provide them with information which I strongly suggest you don't. Ask for something in write and once you have received something in the mail then you decide what avenue you should take. Over the phone isn't safe. Make sure you ask for their employee name and ID number along with the company they work for. Also make sure that they provide you with all the correct mailing information. Make them start answering all the questions you ask and if they won't then tell them not to call again. If they do then its deemed as harassment and you have the right to file a comply. I have done a run on my credit report and I know I should not be getting any calls from them and if I am then I make them explain who they are and make them mail it to me. Hope this is any help
