I received a phone call asking me to verify my checking account number with them for security protection. ?When I told them I do not give out any personal info and asked the name of their company (Nationwide Verification Office?), the caller immediately hung up.  I then reported it to my banking institution.

I get several calls a day. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  Glad to know it's a scam before I answer or my wife does.Thanks for the headsup
