Got a call from this number today.  They said they detected a problem with my Windows computer and needed to show me what's going on and how to fix it.  I figured it was a scam and hung up.  Then the same person called right back from a New Jersey number (209) 374-8004.  I hung up again, googled the number, and found it's a scam that gets you to install software on your computer so they can "inspect the problem" and it ends up being malware (probably monitors your keystrokes too).  I don't know how they got my number or how many people they get to fall for this.  But be warned!

They call and hang up.WTF

When I answer, they hang up and don't leave a message.

They're really escalating. My robot caller said she was from the US treasury department and I am being charged with tax fraud. I should return their call before I am charged with a federal criminal offense or arrested! It's scary to think the amount of personal information these idiots may be able to get out of people. They are DANGEROUS.

They got as far as "I am from your computer company" "We detect a problem with your Windows installation"  before I hung up... I just wanted to see if I was alone... I'm running Linux, so..... LOL   IDIOTS!!!!
