I had the same call. Rather irritating. No one is ever there and calls several times a day.
I work for O2 (the telecoms company) and have managed to use my position to find out a little bit about this number.
Its registered as a domestic and general services number. Not sure of location and intent.
To STOP these calls you need to ring: 0800 083 1807. Its an automated service, will ask for your name, MPN and finally your postcode. Allow 30 days to take effect.
DO NOT USE YOUR MOBILE TO CALL THIS NUMBER AS "08" NUMBERS ARE USUALLY VERY EXPENSIVE TO CALL FROM MOBILES!!!

Just been called. Lots of background noise followed by a shout of w****r. Could have been something else although that's what i thought it was.The it hung up.

Answered this call once and they claimed to be from Sky HD.Was a male voice with background noise like a call centre.Started with small talk, 'how are you enjoying your Sky HD, I see you have the Sports Package, have you been watching the cricket...'Then preceded to pitch a protection scheme for damage and repair for my sky equipment, something like 8 pounds a month. Luckily I lost receptiona dn the call was cut off.Will probably continue to answer these calls just out of interest.

This number keeps ringing my phone then hangs up..? It rings at all hours including several calls between 2am-6am
