Yes I heard my answering m/c kiss them good by!!!  It's interesting how many sites out there that want to charge you to look up #'s now. Too me that represents a wide range of people willing to pay. There is even a site now, that is called very closely to this one that wants to charge you. Save your money and buy a little box that is called the bouncer... I've had one since the late 1990's and I see they still sell them. You can hook them into your phone line and program them several different ways to intercept your (blocked) calls to get rid of them. I have and extra answering m/c (second one) hooked to mine that leaves them a message inviting them to keep calling, as no phones will ring in my house.... yet the answering m/c will automatically answer so as to waste their dime! I was getting the same call, now when I see who it is I pick-up and start pushing the ##### key multiple times before they can start the pitch.It works with most computer generated calls,makes the computer think it called a fax phone # and kicks the number out of call list.or use *60 and block the call. You can block on cell phones also:Check with your plan for instructions.

Got a call from (780) 702-6724 on Monday, Feb.20 (Family Day long weekend, grrrr) at 20:10 hrs.When I said Hello, there was no response from either a live person or a robot; nothing, just a hang-up click.I called the number back right away but got a canned response that the number "is not yet assigned".WTF?  How can an unassigned number initiate calls to begin with?Promptly added said number to my blocked list; they won't bother me again.

Have seen this number show up a couple times on my call display for times I was not home, no message was left. I got another call from this number about 10 minutes ago which I answered and it was a computerized survey on issues and party favorites for the upcoming Alberta election, took about 2 minutes to complete.
