Just received call from this number; I answered and man on other end called me by name.  He claimed to be calling on behalf of Windows, and wanted information in regard to my computer.  He claimed there were files of a suspicious nature (viruses) and asked me to log on and provide him information.  When asked again who he was calling on behalf of, stated Windows.  I told him that IF, and that's a very big if, I had problems with my computer, I would seek out my own solutions.  I also told him I had very good security (to which he claimed was not good enough..!!), and would not provide him with any information.  When I asked the Company name he was calling on behalf of, he hung up...

Don't fall for this obvious scam..!!

just got a call from this number moments ago, at midnight, 12am...I answered but thought maybe i was too late, but now i see its common that no one's there. Plus no message left.

but, what's crazy to me is, my cell# is NOT this area code, but I do LIVE int his area code! My cell# area code is 902, Prince Edward Island, other side of the country, 4000km, but how the HECK does it know that at this moment I am physically local at this moment...geezuz...

I called Rogers technical support for my phone and a woman from Rogers with this number to ensure my phone was properly working.

I supposedly got a voice mail message from "Chris from the Edmonton Oilers" asking me to call a 1-866 number - I did not return the phone call.

Got a call to my cell from this number at 8:00pm. Didn't answer.
