I've been getting calls from this number on Nov. 27,2010 & called four times at my work number after hours.  Again on Nov. 30, 2010 two times again after hours at my work number.  No message is ever left.  Called the number and a recording came on saying the number you have dialed is not in service.  So i'm guessing this is a scam.

I got called at 4:45pm by that number. I did not answer it. Oh my Gosh, it just phone again... like 2 seconds later... and now again???

So Bell is hiring a marketing company to sell Solo phones and subscriptions...
They are NOT observing the Canadian do-not-call list.
Can I sue Bell or something?

From looking over the history of these posts, it seems like this is some form of re-direct number where people can call from some place else, and this number shows. I would call telus and complain, in addition to filing a complaint with the CRTC. Of course, getting Telus to do anything is next to impossible because Telus has no clue what customer service means.

I just got a call from this #.  The fellow on the other end was telling me my # was selected for a cell phone promotion fro Bell Canada.  Seemed rather fishy, when I told him I already had a phone and didn't need another one...insisted it was absolutely free.  Kept insisting it was free, no strings... I said NO and he continued his spiel.  It was his insistence and the mention of "just taking my contact info" that seemed odd.  I declined the offer and said goodbye.  Tried to reverse look up the # and nothing showed up.

Just got a call from this number, he was claiming to be from Bell mobility. Super rude kept offering me another cell phone contract. I know it isn't actually Bell though (I used to work for them and this is a scam going on). Just hang up if they call you.
