This person wanted me to change setting on my computer...
... not going to happen.

This number is a spoof.  The call is probably coming from a VOIP line somewhere outside Canada that is being used for scams.  Just fart into the phone and hang up.

This number calls me daily, when I answer, I get loud beeps in my ear.  But I get a lot of phone calls from strange #'s that do that.
Another Famous # is (780) 443-1480 with the name "Digtl contct" But the # alway changes.  I get these calls all hours of the night, and day.  I feel harassed.

Just received call from this number; I answered and man on other end called me by name.  He claimed to be calling on behalf of Windows, and wanted information in regard to my computer.  He claimed there were files of a suspicious nature (viruses) and asked me to log on and provide him information.  When asked again who he was calling on behalf of, stated Windows.  I told him that IF, and that's a very big if, I had problems with my computer, I would seek out my own solutions.  I also told him I had very good security (to which he claimed was not good enough..!!), and would not provide him with any information.  When I asked the Company name he was calling on behalf of, he hung up...

Don't fall for this obvious scam..!!

Got call at 12 noon. Caller w/ a african accent tells me I won a free Bell samsung cell phone.Ask him how he got my #. Says it's in their database. Wants to know my name and other info.Knowing it's BS, I start to have some fun with him and ask him if it's GSM, CDMA, Pay as u Go. He just says its Free and CDMA. yeah right. Just give them info of people u hate.Caller ID: unknown

I just got a call from this #.  The fellow on the other end was telling me my # was selected for a cell phone promotion fro Bell Canada.  Seemed rather fishy, when I told him I already had a phone and didn't need another one...insisted it was absolutely free.  Kept insisting it was free, no strings... I said NO and he continued his spiel.  It was his insistence and the mention of "just taking my contact info" that seemed odd.  I declined the offer and said goodbye.  Tried to reverse look up the # and nothing showed up.
