I live in alberta. I've been looking for work lately so I thought I might have missed a call for an interview since it was a number I didn't know on my call display. Even though it was missed around 6 pm and they left no message. But when I called it back it said it wasn't in service, so I searched it on google and came across this post, and i'm glad I did. Thanks for the useful info.

They just called me too, I didn't answer. I hope they don't start up with calling me a lot.

They keep calling me claiming to be telus mobility and offering a cell phone. Obviously a scam

FYI ...I had received five calls from a telemarketer in the last week informing me that my number had been randomly selected for a free cell phone from Bell and Solo Mobility.  I advised the caller each time that my number was on the do not call list, but they did not understand that.  (FYI, I have never done business with either Bell or Solo.)On the 5th call, I was quite firm in my words about having my number removed and then hung up.  In less than a minute, I received a 6th call, this time from (780) 424-5841.  The man was upset with me for the call I had just received.  He identified himself as Alex Harrison from Bell and Solo Mobile and said he was calling from North York, Ontario.  I repeatedly told him my number was on the national do not call list and he was to immediately stop calling me.  He suggested I call Bell at +1 800-627-0123 if I had a problem with him (it didn't seem to register that I was on the national do not call list).BTW, an internet check of that number shows it is not available to Alberta - not even sure who it is.FYI, Bell's customer care number is +1 800-667-0123.  I called Bell to notify them about how this person conducted business for Bell, if he is even acting on behalf of Bell.  They have no record of an Alex Harrison and nor is the Alberta-based number registered with Bell nor is there any free cell phone promotion of the kind the telemarketers claimed.

(780) 424-5841 called our residence @2119 hrs. Shows up as PRIVATE. Not home, so no one answered call. Over the past 6/7 years have received allot of calls from this number. We usually never answer calls that are PRIVATE or Unknown Name or number. FYI

says this number is not in service, called my work phone number, a message from a Jeff Ewanchuk
