Hello:I'm from Alberta and just received a call from (780) 424-5841.  My husband answered the phone as it looked like a local call.  The person on the other end went on and on trying to sell us cell service.  We declined but what raised a red-flag was that we, like so many other people are on the national do not call list.  From past posts regarding this number, they are trying to "sell" a number of things and thank you to those who have taken the time to share their experiences regarding this number.

I continually get calls from (780) 424-5841.  If you have the capability to block numbers on your phone - works like a charm - problem solved!I tried to call the number back, but get a recording stating the number is no longer in service - strange....

I have been getting multiple calls from this number, they claim to be a company called Express Transaction Services. The say I owe them money and I need to pay now or be sent to collections. When I ask them what the charges are for they reply, I should know! They then give me the option to pay half just to close the account, or I will go to collections.

I told them I will wait for the collection letter, but they just continue to call and say the same thing.

Just received a call from this number and yes no one on the other side....Can we have our service providers block/ filter this number from their system?

(780) 424-5841These guys called my cell asking whose phone it was and all kinds of questions- told them off and hung up.

Got a call from this number this morning -- woman who asked me to do a quick check on my copier counter. (No way!) Then hung up. Go figure.
