On July 18th, 2010 my call display registered 8 phone calls in 2 hours from this telephone number. I expected that some dire emergency to a family member had happened - what else could warrant this type of urgency to speak to me? When I called the number back I got the recording that the number isn't in use.

I am visiting Edmonton from American.  Last night was my first night here, and I got a call in the middle of the night on my American cell phone from (780) 424-5841.  I thought it was very strange that I got a call from an Edmonton number, since nobody from Edmonton knows that I am here except for the friend that I am staying with.  My cell phone is from Verizon Wireless, and my area code is 812, which is Indiana.  I never received any unknown calls from Canada when in the US.  

I find it very disturbing after reading these other complaints about this number, since it seems to indicate that the person who originated this call must have had knowledge that this cell phone was in Edmonton.

I did not answer the phone since I was sleeping.

We keep getting calls from (780) 424-5841, and it shows as a private number...only a fax signal comes on though.  When called back, Telus recording says the number is not in use.  Wish that were true.

They phoned my place at 7:24pm, didn't leave a message.

Got call at 12 noon. Caller w/ a african accent tells me I won a free Bell samsung cell phone.Ask him how he got my #. Says it's in their database. Wants to know my name and other info.Knowing it's BS, I start to have some fun with him and ask him if it's GSM, CDMA, Pay as u Go. He just says its Free and CDMA. yeah right. Just give them info of people u hate.Caller ID: unknown

I too, have had the same calls for the 3 weeks, comes up a +1 866-270-3021,and or
something very similar.
approx over 35 calls in the last week.
