I keep getting calls at all hours from this number asking for different people.

Got a phone call from this number around 7pm. The woman said she was from BBMI Canada doing research for some purpose which I did not understand. She asked me if I was watching tv or listening to radio when she called. Then she explained that my phone call may be monitored and that the questionnaire would take very little time. She asked me about my internet connection, my cable provider, the number of flat screen TVs in my house. She asked about the number of people living in the house and in what age and their sex and then verified my address and thanked me. I feel taken advantage of because BBMI doesn't exist as I found our later and she spoiled the good conversation I was having with my parents at the time. I feel like these people use the information I gave them to make more annoying phone calls to steal your personal information. In no part of the conversation did this woman allow me to say what I wanted to say or tell her that I did not want to participate in the questionnaire. She also asked me whether I was moving in the next 3 months.I hope this bi*** bleeds from her ears.

I think this is a "dummie" number. When someone calls from a calling card, calls off of the computer, or uses a scrambler..a phone number will come up on your caller ID. This number is not really in service, its just a "dummie" or masking number. I have had a few of these call me, and one was a friend who told me about this.

Got a phone call from this number asking to confirm details of my business for his client who wanted a credit check done on my company before they would consider purchasing from me. Obviously, reading the other blogs, this guy is stepping things up a notch. This guy rushes his speech through and asks many questions. This is a total scam; he's fishing for any info. he can get. Police can't do anything though as "no crime has been committed!" Disconnect and don't answer questions.

ya I got a call 3 times tonight,02:48am and 03:19 am from #(780) 424-5841 and when i answered the phone all i got was beeping sounds like i was on hold and another callat 03:03 from #+1 877-500-7387 same sounds.will contact the phone company and local authorities if it happens again. i did a search and it says landline but who knows.
