That number is a identity protector number for example. Some home phones dont allow "unknown name unknown number" or "private name private number" So the phoe service provider give them a "fake" number to call you with. Some even have fake names.

called me too early morning, no msg. call back, no such number...

This person wanted me to change setting on my computer...... not going to happen.

I just got a call from this #.  The fellow on the other end was telling me my # was selected for a cell phone promotion fro Bell Canada.  Seemed rather fishy, when I told him I already had a phone and didn't need another one...insisted it was absolutely free.  Kept insisting it was free, no strings... I said NO and he continued his spiel.  It was his insistence and the mention of "just taking my contact info" that seemed odd.  I declined the offer and said goodbye.  Tried to reverse look up the # and nothing showed up.

I got called at 5:55pm Friday November 6th but I didn't answer it as I didn't recognize the number.  I've tried reverse look up but nothing comes up.  Luckily I've only been called the one time.

is this like a Telus scam?i have had this number call me as well and im going to lose my mind if it doesnt stop, i even called Telus and they told me they cant even block the number... Thanks Telus... im happy to know the $285 a month im paying you is going to at least something useful!
