I receive a call from this number many times a month. They always ask for the same person. I have ignored them, and then I answered and politely explained that they have the wrong number, hoping that would help.I have explained more times than I can count. I have even attempted to find out who had the number last and how long ago. Now I either ignore it or pick it up and hang up. It drives me crazy. All the phone company(Telus) says is they will change the number. There is no way to block it free of charge, if at all. Changing the number is a big problem as I would have to change my number with everyone I gave it to in the year I've had it.No new number guarantees I won't end up with the same problem.Any ideas?

just called me too. 4 times in a row Imade me drop the call I was on..believe its for Telus. Any advise here; I suspended my account for 7months, (zero minutes used!) I explained my situation to Telus and they said thats fine don't worry and promissed credits / adjustments.. So ultimatly I never recived my adjustments and now collections are calling for a large amonut, which was wrongfully billed out !I have explained my situation with the 'Metropolitan Credit Adjustors" and they are only interested in a settlement of partial amount "owed" ! How do I protect my credit from this BS??

it's a collection agency .. I worked for them .. it's how they verify that they have the right person on the phone because it's illegal to tell anyone but the debtor about their debt without their permission.  It's Metropolitan Credit Adjustors.
