Well Barbara, I received a similar call April 26 , 2015 from George Hassan,  claiming I had bought an oriental rug from his father.  He claimed he was trying to find his father's old clients.  He was a bit rude with me when I refused to agree I had made the purchase from his father.  I never heard of his father. .  I hung up..!

Some dude who asked me if I was my husband.  He said he was George.  When I was silent, he said he was George Hassan.  I asked if I was supposed to know who he was.  He said I'd been in his shop a few years ago and had bought a lot of very nice Oriental carpets.  Sorry buddy, no idea who you are or what your scam is, but I've never bought any Oriental carpets anywhere.  After I hung up, I dimly remember a similar call a few years ago, about carpets I had purchased in Riyadh.  I've never been to Riyadh.....
