my mom just received this lette in the mail today and as much as we would have like to believe that it was real it sounds very scammy!! we didnt enter any sweapstakes or anything of that sort so I decided to investigate. it stated that we had won U.S $250,000 and we received a check for $3,900 which is provided to help pay for tax exemptions. They provided serial numbers lucky winning numbers and everything. The check is very legit but DO NOTTTTT cash it!
