spanish calls, three to four times per minute. we are all getting harrassment from these guys

I receeived an incoming recorded message from this number. It was in spanish.  I waited for a customer service agent to come on the line and to request removal of my telephone number from their database- but after waiting a minute. the line was disconnected.My telephone number is on the national Do-Not-Call list, so they are in violation of the governing law.

Called several times over two days; a total of 4 calls.  I didn't answer, and there were no messages left

Same problem as everyone else. I'm surprised they have this much time to call people. They don't seem to want anything, and repeat "Bueno?" over and over. They never leave a message. My phone says it's from British Columbia, but I've also gotten the same call with the same voice from id 502240632357 and (250) 984-7189. As if these calls are being routed through other numbers for some reason.

This call in from the American Nicaraguan Foundation. They are a very legit organization. I had a similar problem when the call came in the first time and then I tried to call back on it. I was actually able to have a conversation with them. They were calling to offer assistance, not to solicit anything from us. I think the number is some kind of TIE line to the US from NIC and therefore creates some problems in trying to return the call. Visit their web site at http://www.aidnicaragua.org/site/PageServer
