i got a call from this number as well. a man with an accent was calling for my husband, and as I told him my husband was not at home, the man asked some very inappropriate questions. when I asked who he was calling on behalf of, he said manulife.

hung  up  on my daughter when he asked for us.

This person is using a call forward service, run by GT Telecom. It uses a box number ... there can be hundreds attached to that one number. Great way to hide your identity. Don't trust them. Manulife Financial does not use GT Telecom.

have been getting calls from this number almost daily for over a month.  So annoying.  And sometimes they call before 8am!!Always a pause before anyone says hello, and then it's always someone with an accent.  I hang up every time. I've just blocked the number now,  Thanks for the info guys!
