This number has called me at 8 in the morning ,I was asleep so I could not answere .i have traced the number back to Vancouver .i was their recently for a trip to science world (I am not out of school yet ) when a boy by the name of nick came up to me .i suspect it was him or a telemarketer ,because I only know of those two who are from Vancouver ,I am from Victoria.so I can not look farther into this .me and my tech friend have tried to find out something about the mystery caller but nothing .i don't suspect that is is a telemarketer as much because i am not a telemarketer but my phone does start with 778

It's actually not weird at all. There is legally purchased software/apps available to "spoof" your outgoing phone number so that it can appear to be any number you want. It's not that tough; just ignore calls if you don't know the number--who's getting hurt here? Blocking won't work, because they won't use the same number to call you again.

Left a voicemail, was a telemarket.

Call showed up on my "Missed Call" list. After reading these posts, I decided to call and see who they are. I used two different phones and there was no connection sound and no ring was heard from either of the phones. Can the person who posted that the caller left a message and that they are a telemarketer please give more details? What did the message say? What company do they represent? In my experience they don't usually leave messages.

Yup, 3 Mins ago for me as well. They called twice, one number was broken up. It's really weird.
