No message left, cold-called my unlisted, 416 area code #, while in BC.The only thing more annoying than a robo-call is the dirty pipeline propaganda banner ad they have on this page!

Yes, you've been had. This particular scam is called 'Advance Fee Fraud'. Never give ANY money to ANYONE who calls you over the phone or contacts you by email, unsolicited. It is a scam. It will always be a scam - if you've won a free trip or any other kind of thing, you will have had to /enter the contest/ first. Nobody calls up random people to award them free trips, and even if they did, there would be details you could check. Always be extremely wary of anyone who requests money up front, because what is to stop them from simply taking the money and running?

got a call on my cell at 11:43 am EST. Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the #. Am getting many calls such as this from different numbers, during he week. Some I have answered and heard Congratulations, at which point I hang up!

Just received a call from this number. I did not answer as I don't know anyone in BC.  Very frustrating when they call you and don't even care to leave a message.
