I got a call from them just now. Since I don't know anyone in BC, I checked it out and came here.

Just got a call from this number on my Toronto cell phone. They didn't leave a message. Very annoying considering I'm on the do not call list!

I think you meant rude.  Ignorant means not having enough knowledge, understanding, or information about something.  In other words, many people are ignorant of the definition of the word "ignorant".  You would have been correct in stating that his comment was rude as in not polite, offensive.

You will need to learn to string a sentence together using the Queen's English.Plllllllllllease.
