This is a company wanting to doa survey, no message left soI called back and got a voice recording saying they were looking to complete a survey and press 9 to take my # off the list.

REALLY!!!! The phone companies DO NOT give out your number. This is random dialling by criminals who use a cheap program to do it along with an automated (robo) dialler. And if the criminals have your name it is from a phone book (including on-line phone book). They aren't the brightest and often are semi-literate so easy for them to get your name wrong too. Conspiracy theories only exist in small minds.
