I received a call from this number at 9:11 Pacific today, soliciting $150 donation to "Cerebral Palsy Sports Association" to provide sporting opportunities, maybe leading to the Paralympic Games.When I said "no", she asked for $75.  When I said "no", she asked for $25.  Still no.  She hung up.Waste of 2 minutes of my time.Probably, less than 50% of the funds raised go to the Association -- the majority go to the commercial fund-raisers.

Same type of caller, representing the same "sports organization", thanking me for a previous donation (probably over 5 years ago!), and asking for $140.  When I told him that I am unemployed, he proposed a different, lower, amount.I guess he thinks that "unemployed" means that I still have "spare" money.  Huh?

The same number called me again, at 18:56 Pacific yesterday (October 9).She gave her name, but did not say anything like "I am calling from the BLAH BLAH organization".She started to thank me for my previous ...At that point, I hung up.  She did not call back.Curiously, the "name" in the caller-ID information matched the "telephone-number' in the caller-ID information.

Still the same company, pitching the same thing. They said that I last donated in 2005 -- ten years ago.
