Even using my call block feature on my landline phone, they continue to call.

These guy call me 9 times a day so I am blocking them. The don't leave voice mail they only phone all day. I wish one would stop these guys.

I keep getting phone calls from this and many other diffeent numbers for a person in my household who passed away Dec/12. They say they are from a collection agency but no other information. They have been calling me 3-6 times a day and when I answer to tell them the person they are looking for is deceased, they tell they will make a note of it on the file. But yet they still insist on calling. How do I stop these phone calls?

Its a collection agency for cell companies , theyve called my home several times and never left a message, i called them back and they claimed i hung up on them in May- My response " if im avoiding you why the hell would i be calling you now!"

I got a call from this number, called it back and the recording said that I have reached the offices of CBV which is a debt collector for Telus.

Ditto Randy!  Most annoying!  If they won't leave a message than why bother even to pick up the phone when you are actually there to answer it.  Can't be important!!!  Or perhaps they don't want to be charged with harassing phone calls!

this number has called my cell phone 5 times in less than 12 hours! everytime i answer they hang up, then when someone FINALLY spoke just now, they asked for someone i've never heard of!! i tried to ask them not to call again but they hung up!

This is most likely a collection agency for a cell phone. In other words, another way that phone companies like to rip off peoples money. I told my collection agency that I was moving to Australia and if they'd like I could send them a postcard explaining in more ways than one how they should go f*** themselves. This may ruin your credit for 7 years but after that, its wiped clean. Let them get their briefs in a knot. Ignore and delete.
