Just a scam......to try and get personal information .....use *60 you will have two choices use which one yu want to and block these sad people. Also yu can go to phone busters .com this is an RCMP site to report the harassment they will follow up and hopefully give them what they deserve.

By the way...  This company calls my number every half-hour on the hour and the half-hour.  The calls start at 07:30 and cease at 20:00 Monday to Friday

Fake Name

F*** off. If one does not answers its cause they don't want to talk to you ignorant bastards. Who says that a person must answer their phone? Guess what folks you control who you talk to not the other way around. Just cause your phone rings does not mean you are under any law or compulsion to answer it. If they want to talk to you, and you don't want to talk to them, that is their problem, not yours. You have the power, you have the control.

lol

I justcalled them back and flipped out on them and told them that if I get one more call frome them I would be filing harassment complaint. 10 calls since 8 amand it is 2 pm.

There is no law that states a person has to answer their door when someone comes to it.  Nor is there a law that states a person has to answer their telephone when it rings.  Neither is there a law that states that a person must return a telephone call if the calling party leaves a message!!!

Collection agencies only exist because people fall prey to their bullying tactics.  If people would just stop paying them, the collection agencies would quickly go out of business.  Yes collection agencies threaten to take legal action, however these are only threats.  It costs the collection agency a lot of money to start litigation, and many collection agencies simply do not have the financial recourses to
follow through with the threat.  Should the case ever get to the judge, the judge may or may not rule in favour of the collection agency, it is all dependant upon the ability of the defendant to pay.  And if the judge does rule in favour of the collection agency, then the collection agency will get a judgement summons in their favour, and everything simply goes back to square one.
There is no debtor's jail in Canada, however I would strongly suggest that if a collection agency does commence litigation proceedings, then by all means comply with the request and follow-through with the instructions on the summons.  Ignoring the summons will allow the collection agency to win by default, which is what the collection agency is hoping for, and the collection agency might get a Committal Order against the debtor which will allow the collection agency to have the debtor put in jail for 3 or 5 days, all at the expense of the collection agency I might add.
Collection agencies are NOT in the Litigation Business, they are in the Debt Collection Business.  So if they threaten with "WE" might sue, "WE" will probably sue, then their threat is simply just a threat.
People should only be concerned if a Summons is received, and a Summons will cost the Collection Agency money up-front.
The Collection Agency will not file a summons if they do have the correct address of the debtor.  So my advice would be to not provide the Collection Agency with any details whatsoever.  Therefore it is best NOT to take their call or return their call!!!
Thank the lucky-stars for Caller ID and VoiceMail

This is the collection agency for BC health. BC health has a terrible business ethic. They racked up 7000 on my tab. I do not live in BC and have health care in my ome province. I lived in BC for years and notified them when I left. Thats the problem. BC health cannot seem to get it when you tell them you are leaving, tell them you left. This went on for years I a thought they finally got it. THen I got a bill for $7000 for the years I've been away. Finally got thru to someone at BC heath who actually looked it all up including my proof of health care in another province. They then decided I owe $2000 instead. This is BS too. BC Heath has their heads up their a** and this collection agency is even worse. Call everyday and a c omputer asks me to hold while they find someone to talk to me. Occasioanly a real person kicks in and they are terrible debt collectors. Same line every time "why dont you just make a payment and then work it out with BC Heath?". You see once you make a payment you legally accept the debt. They know this. I am suing BC Health right now. We'll see how that turns out in about 2-3 years. What amazes me is how terrible BC heatlh is at their jobs. Then just how terrible this collection agency is. They cant even phone properly. 99% of their calls are a computer who either says nothng or asks me to hold for "a business matter". No effort - no skill. Just nonsense. These people are a joke and the BC government is a hughe joke for having such messed up accounts. Who is minding the store? The East Indian mafia that really runs the province?
