This is CBV for sure! No doubt. The law regarding collections states clearly these aholes collectors have no legal right to harass in such a manner. I had calls once 16 times in 2 days from both #'s listed on here and refuse to even  answer as I know what they are and what they want. I am not even the person they are looking for and I told them this 3 x. Everytime they get a newbie on the phones they put them to work to show their quota to their d***head boss showing them that they actually make calls to harass people. Some system when they say they remove you and they dont. I just ignore these dorks  now. Let them waste all that time chasing the wrong guy! lol.( I wonder what they actullay tell people they do for a living by the way) What a bunch of jokers! I just cant believe people do this crap for a living. I realize people have to do it but a more civil method must be available then this bs.

Got several calls from (778) 329-0347 and (604) 687-4559.  Both of these say they're calling about an important business matter.  The message repeats 2 or 3 times and the line goes dead.  Calling them back gets no answer.  These numbers appear to belong to CBV Collection Services Ltd in Calgary and also in Vancouver their TOLL FREE  number is 1-+1 888-311-1121.  I haven't been able to get anyone to answer this line yet.  They ask you to leave a message and then hang up.  The annoying thing is that I don't have any outstanding debts.  The next step is my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau. CONFIRMED:  778 329 0347 and 604 687 4559 are for CBV Collection Services Ltd.  They can be reached at the 604 687 4559 number.  I just got off a call with them and they were looking for someone else. (last name LAW)When I told them that I had never heard of that person and that I have lived at this address and had my phone number for well over 5 years, they said that they would remove my number from the system.We'll see what happens.

(778) 329-0296   yea crap callers of dumbdumwhats real fun is the calls are for people who used to live in the house before you, and then the debt collection dumbas*'s phone your number since the address is the one for the former deadbeats.

I found a contact page on their website and left this message:

I have been getting a steady stream of phone calls from your automated service to my telephone number. I am not the person you are looking for, I have had this phone number for years! Your service does nothing except irritate me! Stop it! the number needs to be taken off the list: {xxx-xxx-xxxx}.

BTW: When someone gives you a telephone number, don't you check it out first before blindly entering it into your call-out database? Why would you assume that someone who owes money would give you their real number??? It's not very bright is it? And it's not very responsible either!

This is a collection agency in Vancouver.  To stop these calls simply do the following:  Call the Privacy Officer of CBV Collections.  In Vancouver contact Erin Coe on her direct line (604) 661-7902. Tell her you want your number removed from their system.  She will ask you for the number being called.  Then she'll ask you if you are such and such and whether you live on a certain street.  In my case both were for a company I've never heard of.She'll then tell you it takes 24 hours for their system to get updated and the calls stop.  Hope this helps you out!
