They've been phoning my fax number several times a day all summer; however, because there is no caller ID the faxt doesn't go through. I've programmed my fax machine to not accept calls when there is no ID.

This is CBV for sure! No doubt. The law regarding collections states clearly these a**les collectors have no legal right to harass in such a manner. I had calls once 16 times in 2 days from both #'s listed on here and refuse to even  answer as I know what they are and what they want. I am not even the person they are looking for and I told them this 3 x. Everytime they get a newbie on the phones they put them to work to show their quota to their d****ead boss showing them that they actually make calls to harass people. Some system when they say they remove you and they dont. I just ignore these dorks  now. Let them waste all that time chasing the wrong guy! lol.( I wonder what they actullay tell people they do for a living by the way) What a bunch of jokers! I just cant believe people do this crap for a living. I realize people have to do it but a more civil method must be available then this bs.

If you want them to stop harassing you, call their toll-free number:1-+1 888-311-1121.You can get a hold of a real person at that number. That's what my husband and I did, and they finally stopped harassing us.Also: They have many many complaints made against them at the Better Business Bureau. If phoning them has no effect, you could try that route as well.

This number keeps calling and calling and calling.  Twice a day almost everyday.  First they tried with a (604) 687-4559 number.  I didn't pick up and now they're trying with a (778) 329-0347 number.  Don't know who they are but they certainly have a lot of time on their hands..

Keep chair handy by smoke detector. When this # calls, get on chair and hit the "test" button on your Smoke Detector for a few seconds....it WILL start going off. Let it go off a good 5 seconds long then remove your finger from the test button. Should get them to stop calling if u do it EVERY time a few calls in a row.   :)    On that note, a friendly reminder to everyone to put new batteries in your smoke detectorS and test them (like when this collection company phones you again and again!)....could save your home/family sometime.
