These turd brains make it impossible to get a hold of them.

I get the (778) 329-0347 calls multiple times a day. Mine is a business line that I call forward to my cellphone. I also have my 800 number come to the same line. So I don't know which of my 3 numbers they are calling, but most likely my new number.

There is never anyone there when I answer the calls. Always silence. I have tried calling them back but get led through a massive wild goose chase down an automated menu system.

I have very recently acquired my 2 new business numbers so I know they are after the previous owner of the number. I have not been in business long enough to get a bill, much less become delinquent!

I'm glad I found this site. There is some very useful info here, especially from Rusty and his "Erin Coe on her direct line (604) 661-7902" I called but there was only an answering machine. But today is Saturday, so I will try again Monday.

We shouldn't have to put up with harassment from idiots like this. What ever happened to people personally making a phone call so you can tell the caller what the situation is instead of making it very difficult to reach anyone in person?

I hope CBV Collections burns to the ground. We should all forward CBV Collections name and address to the druggies, telling them that they have millions of dollars of dope stashed in the office. That would make it interesting! Put the morons out of business.

In my case (and apparently many others here) the call did not go into a queue, it just hangs up after repeating the 'important business matter' message 2-3 times. The system you helped set up is busted. Hopefully they fix that crap - I can't believe it's legal at all to make automated calls like this.FYI regarding the do-not-call list I don't think it will stop calls like this, since they are calling for bill collection, not sales.

This is a collection agency in Vancouver.  To stop these calls simply do the following:  Call the Privacy Officer of CBV Collections.  In Vancouver contact Erin Coe on her direct line (604) 661-7902. Tell her you want your number removed from their system.  She will ask you for the number being called.  Then she'll ask you if you are such and such and whether you live on a certain street.  In my case both were for a company I've never heard of.
She'll then tell you it takes 24 hours for their system to get updated and the calls stop.  Hope this helps you out!
