We tried to figure out the call after the smoke alarm went off.  Nobody was there when we answered.  Seems Pretty stupid that an alarm company doesnt deal witht the critical phone

It is Protectron (a.k.a. Stealth Alarms) response center.  Call them back at 1-+1 800-653-9111, they are responding to a trouble alert or alarm for which you are on the call list.

This is an alarm company responding to a problem. I understand that it's an outgoing line only (probably on a business phone with many lines). In order to call them back you have to know the 1-800 number for the monitoring station.

they called me at 6 am EST (im in toronto) which is 3am in vancouver, this cannot be legit since what purpose do they have in calling toronto
