they just called me it was automated saying i won some airmiles now i do not have an airmiles card i pressed 1 waited 15 seconds and a lady answered saying thank you for accepting our travel offer. I said what are you talking about? The thing said it was for airmiles and they hung up on me scam!!

Ya I just got this phone call today. Stayed on the line and asked who the eff was calling me and how they got my number, they don't listen to a word you say, they asked for my name and I spewed out that with my name and they said "good afternoon Sarah, how are you today?"Hopefully I don't get more s**t from them, I will be calling Rogers today to inform them of this. I got this phone call RIGHT AFTER calling Roger's too, so I thought it was something more legitimate. Don't call me gullible lol, just bad timing.

Total scam. I'm not even with rogers, never have been, it told me I had been picked to win 3000 airmiles and had to press 1 to collect. Screen these.

This number just called me, 430pm BC time, claiming to be AirMiles and I had won 22,000 Airmiles, press 1 to collect. I did not.I'm with Virgin Mobile and this number is not public. To all of you who think your carrier is selling their number lists you're morons, these services are simply calling all numbers between yourareacode-000-0000 to yourareacode-999-9999 and your number is in there, somewhere, it's called an auto-dialer and these days it's usually just a fancy computer program. Back in the day it was actually a piece of hardware similar to an answering machine, only instead of accepting calls and taking a message, it would place calls and play a message. They were used for mass-telephone marketing briefly before being ruled illegal.There's your history lesson for the day, now go put your tinfoil hats back on before the government reads your brainwaves, paranoid idiots...
