I got a call from this number, ignored it, then googled it. Turns out it's long distance. when I didn't answer the man calling left a voicemail saying "can you hear me?" in a creepy voice then proceeded to scream in the phone and nearly made me have a panic attack. (yes, literally. It happens to me when triggered.) and when his screaming stopped, there was a number of extremely loud and constant shrieks from the background, sounding like they were coming from a girl being severly hurt/tortured. I'm f*cking freaked out. what do I do?

It's from someone using skype in Newfoundland - I've tried it myself. If you have skype, call your cell phone and that's the number that will appear (if you're in NL). So you won't be able to tell whether it's a telemarketer or just a friend on skype calling you. (I usually don't answer my cell unless I recognize the number - they can always leave a message.)

It is a Newfoundland number....St. John's actually. I just got a call from them ..told me I won a free night at the marriott hotel.

She is calling from her computer to your phone. My mom is in Dubai for a visit and when she calls me from her computer to my phone this is the number that comes up.
