Finally answered their call after they had been calling for several months! They wanted very personal information and address info, so I hung up on them! If they call me one more time, I will report them to the National Do Not Call List and maybe even police! If they are who they say they are, my personal health information is protected under the Personal Health Information Protection Act in Ontario and they are not permitted to access my health information!!!

tell your mp because if they know anyhting they would be telling you to do they survey and if they tell you anything eles then your mp doesnt know anything and may be i should not have to be waisting my tax dollars on your mp. do your home work and look at there goverment of canada web sit

Mine started when I signed onto the HRDC Job Bank with a resume to try and find a job, only did it yesterday and the calls started at nine fifteen tonight. Call or email your local MP or Sun Media and tell them you think millions are being spent on people conducting these calls. Bad enough they stop refunds on your tax return now and claim interest while deciding if you qualify or not but this too with the monthly mail outs they plan for refunds as opposed to one rebate in the Spring is costing millions in more paperwork and monthly administration fees. Money badly spent... Time to make your MP's work for you both Federal and Provincial, there is also a link to the PM on the internet have everyone write to him he has to answer and perhaps if enough people do it Government will realize it's a waste of time and money.

I called the number. It is stats Canada in Sturgeon Falls Ontario. They have been calling here incessently.I have loaded software to my computer that filters out all these calls. There is a learning curve but if your modem supports caller id it is worth the effort.It is completely free called Phone tray.

Stats Can pays by the call and they rotate callers. So most likely its a different body each call and they'll never quit because the Govt has unlimited funds - OUR TAX DOLLARS!

WWDiwhat are you trying say violating the privacy act the statistic act is above that as it is parlimentry legislated , and also it is to keep the information strictly private and convidential so are you saying stop calling because you wont give out any information because of the privacy act

I have received several messages from the Sturgeon Falls office and have tried to call back ELEVEN times - all during regular business hours as stated on their messages. I was willing to answer their questions as I think things like the Health Survey can have value in getting information from Canadians.  However, I finally faxed them this morning and told them that I would not return the call - after 11 tries I give up so stop calling.

there is no name on the mailed envelope because we dont know who lives there , yes address is chosen for labour force survey
simple questions on wether people are working or not in householder or even out of work force like retired
