they called but didn't leave a messdage or talk when i answered

Got a call from this number. Recorded message went to a live person (Jason Turner). I'm on the do not call list, but played along to get as much information as possible. He asked me some questions about credit card debt and then said I qualified for interest rate reduction. He asked me for the customer service number off the back of my card. That's when I told him I was on the DNCL and told him I was reporting him and to remove me from the list. The info I got from him was Global Asset Services 1-+1 888-290-8281.

I got a call from these guys, and did a little hunting.
Seems the network this call originated with is called Iristel.
I emailed Iristel, they won't do anything without a CRTC complaint.

They then ended their email with an advertisement for their services.

I replied to them that I would share the information here,
Anyone that wants to contact Iristel and protest - feel free.

I have removed my personal info (name & email) from this email,
the last thing I need is more spam calls.

I'm getting spam scammer phone calls from a number in your domain.
I'm also reading about thousands of complaint about these calls.
The calls also involve credit card fraud.

I wish for these calls to stop, and will be filing complaints with the

Do you really need to make your income with scammers
who have no respect for the laws of the land and lie, cheat,

The best way is to answer say yes give them a bogus name and a bogus credit card or 2 or 3 of 4 and string them along and waste their time I love doing this After all I am retired and no one ever calls me I am 73 years old and well it's entertainment and it helps pass some of my mundane time during the day.I always use different name like George couples or some thing like that I string them along fore as long as i can just to waist their time like they do to everyone elseSo if everyone did this they would eventually get tired of making these calls

If you receive a call, just lift the receiver, do not say a word and then close. It is an automated message which is activated by voice!

I refuse to answer calls from unknown sources. They will not leave a message or identify themselves. Number in place of name.

Just got a call from (647) 931-7539. I'm from Ottawa, ON. Added to my junk number list and will be blocked in the future. What a loser company!! According to the info listed from other users here, if they ask you for your credit card numbers, that is out right fraud. Beware.
