Where do I report this check to cause I just received one and I don't want to hold on to it if any one can help please let me know thank you

I received a check and letter from North American/UK Consumer Compensation Draw from Niagra Falls, Canada.  The check looks legit (drawn on Cathay Bank which does exist) and the letter states that I have won $55,000.00 and I owe $2,810.00 in taxes.  The check was for $3,920, which on the surface looks like they are sending me money to pay the taxes and I get to keep what's left.  Anyway, if you look up North American/UK Consumer Compensation Draw on the Internet you'll find that it is a very elaborate fraud setup and do not, under any circumstances deposit the check.  Even though it looks very real, the account does not exist.  You are especially vunerable if you've filed bankruptcy or had a lot of money woes.  They seem to be targeting people who have been in financial trouble.  BE WARY.  If it looks to good to be true --- it is!!!

Got a check from the North American/UK Consumer Compensation Draw, which is supposed to be in Niagara Falls, but letter is sent from Canada...Hmmmmmmmmmm, now I won $55,000  but i can't collect until I pay Uncle Sam  $1,810.00...come on if they were smart they would know that that is not the way the US Government works!  Even though it looks legit DO NOT CASH OR DEPOSIT!!!! let's put these crooks behind bars where they belong....report any check you receive.
