They just called me as well, I didn't pick up and they called right back so I picked up and it's automated, mentioned an economic crisis as previous commenter said. I hung up and they have not called back.

Had several calls over the last few weeks from this and other numbers, all for the same "Due to the current economic crisis.." debt reduction plan, and all to my unlisted cell phone.  I want to know how they got my number, and how do I get them to stop.  I don't trust their "dial 2 to be removed from our calling list" option, since they shouldn't have my number in the first place!

Another poster had them call him (http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/(416) 628-5255/6), and apparently it comes from

I chose option 1, which only prompted me to leave a message. I faked interest, said I have $30 000 in debt. Next day I got a call, and the guy was happy to tell me all about their company.

They called me yesterday and today about a world economic crisis and debt reduction programs. I hit the button to speak to someone (to give them a piece of my mind) and the system hung up. They called me again today and I tried the number back twice and it does the same thing.
