Person using this number is commiting frauds relating to the secret shopper scam

I just got a call from this number, the person is Tiffany, so she offered me a job to be a mystery shopper, she said she will send me a package including a cheque of $2,000 and I will be going shopping in the store, and she said she even pay for a cab for me to go to the store etc. This offer sounds too good to be true. So I decide to google her number and thanks Eric for your post.

Who called

Just had it happen to me I deposited the check waited called her back and said it bounce she said she will call h.o. And never got back to me Her name is Tiffany Wilson. Thank goodness no info was given except which bank I use and my address to get the package I urge any and every one to say no or that you know this is a scam

THIS IS A FRUD. These people are located in USA, but they are using Canadian numbers. This is a scam related to secret shopper. Her name is "Stephanie Wilson". They will call you and just you a job, with a trial period. If you accept the trail period they will send you a package within 2 business days. The package will contain instructions and a check, usually two thousand dollars. You will deposit the check into your account and since it takes a week to bounce, you will temporarily have access to that money (it is your money). They will ask you to take all the cash and leave 200 for you and do a secret shop, and then they will ask you to transfer the rest of the money using MoneGgram or western union to some people in US. If you transfer that money, you are giving away your money because the bank cheque will bounce and your bank will take 2000 from your account and plus counterfeit fees. This is a FRAUD. If they call tell them you are not interested.  They have another phone number that they are using. is (416) 548-5555

I just received a call from this number from someone named Tiffany. She said the exact same thing as Eric posted. Apparently I will receive a package in 2 days .Thank you Eric for your post I will be aware and not call back that number or cash that check.
