This is a big rental scam. If these people, "Rob and Kate Nelson" contact you about a property, don't do it! They even make it look convincing by listing the property on several sites at a higher price, then offering you a better deal. They sent me pictures of the interior of an empty house but I know they weren't the house advertised as I used to live on that street and they're cookie cutter houses, that one didn't even match in size! They want you to western union money to a friend/family member to prove you have the funds and send them a picture of the receipt with all of the information on it and will claim to live 3 hours away and that they're not going to waste the time driving down otherwise. Funny thing is, the guy called me from an Ontario number, but I live in Calgary... Ontario is more than 3 hours away. I almost lost 2400 dollars because I was naive and my pregnant brain took longer than usual to clue in.
