Got a text that says "Hi, its Tracy, remember me? I think I just saw your profile! Is that really you?" and then there's a link in which to reply.  Figuring on it possibly being some sort of virus, I chose not to click on the link.  I have NO idea who this "Tracy" is who's in area code 647, which I think is a Canadian area code.

I got a text from Tracy too. I am afraid it is directing me to a virus. I am unsure though. I guess I suggest we take our phone numbers off of facebook if that is even the source. Again, it is weird to me and apparently to the rest of us.

received text stating i 've been selected for $1000 Bestbuy shopping spree different link . couldn't find link hoping someone has shut them down

Received the same message on my husband's phone last night.  He just happens to know a Tracy in Canada, so he responded via text.  There was no link on it that I could see?  I told him it was a scam.  His phone number is not on his profile.
