Called, unknown number

why call if you don't speak

Has been calling most days for about a week now - I haven't answered and they left no message.  Today, they called twice in a row, then sent me a text message that read:"WhoCalled Now Improved (01) Call(s) missed 01: (647) 725-3901 10:52AM 06/04 Select number to call back"I don't belong to any service that would text me like that. The phone number was highlighted to call automatically if I clicked on it. Obviously, whoever is running this scam is adding in texts as follow ups to their calls, hoping to snare more people. Ignore them, block them.

The guy said the call was from peel police association and asked the donation. I doubt it.

The guy claimed to be from Association of Ontario Police, and asked for donation. I told him the police service is getting good money from governments on each level, and don't need regular people's donation. The guy got so mad.Just ignore such calls, and it is a scam.
