They call me & leave a message asking for Gale Williams Reed & I have no idea who that is.

They were calling me at least three times per week for the last few months, but always left a message with a recording to stay on the line for an operator. I finally decided to call them and it turns out they are a credit agency ("Global"), but they were definitely not looking for me. They advised that my number would be removed from the system.

Surprisingly, they were very polite an apologetic. If you call them, do so from the number they call and you won't have to provide any information to them.

They phone every day. I'm getting sick of it. I owe no one money and I don't know anybody who lives in Toronto!

On another website, the person identified it as being Global, a collection agency.  I have been receiving calls from somebody using that same number for the last month.  They don't leave a message.

Now you just let them know that your number is real and they sell this information upto $1.25 for every real phone number the can confirm. If they get you name or other information, then it worth even more to people who specializes in identity theft.

Thanks for the info ... I called and they were looking for a name that was not familiar to me ... the number they are calling is my work cell.  They did say they would remove from their system.  We'll see what happens.

Got two calls today, 6 minutes apart and it is a machine, I listened for a minute the first time and the recording tried to connect me and said the line was busy .  .  . pretty much a pain in the a$$

I wish my cellular carrier allowed me to block these nuisance calls
