They called me today, Said pretty much the same thing about being a Microsoft Agent, and my computer was riddled with Viruses.  Called from 607-795-4626, but hung up on me, then called from 201-824-0171 I know it was the say guy, because the accent was the same and he used the same name. Rahul.  Reported this to the Canadian Scam and Fraud agency up here in Canada.  If you are in Canada, and receive any of these calls please report them and the phone numbers, if you can get a call back number even better.http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/Cheers

Well said. I don't understand all this about Pronerds scam. Let me tell you about my experience. My new system developed the notorious blue screen error within 3 months of purchase. All my business work came to a standstill. I searched for a solution to the problem when I learnt about this remote tech support firm located somewhere in Victoria. At first I was hesitant to take help from these guys sitting thousands of miles away. But after a chat with one of their executives I decided to enlist their services. I have never regretted it. After one session my system became as good as new. Trust me-all this talk about scam is so much poppycock!

They called me again today. And their statement is so robotic, "bla bla bla... you have won a disney trip for two.. bla bla bla... before u get too excited... I need some information from you..." And I don't even have a space to interrupt. Finally I scream, "EXCUSE ME! Please stop calling me, I told you last week I am not interested. Thank you."It is so scary they have so much of my detail. And I tried to call back, the number does not work.

they called me everyday for the last five days they wanted my informatio and said I won a trip to Dysney ..... wouldn't erase my informations no matter how angry I got
