A man with a foreign accent called asking for my husband (who happened to be out). He said a delivery truck was going to stop by in a few hours because my husband paid a $1000 for something.  Then he said my husband won a $1000.  I laughed out loud at him, told him my husband didn't have a thousand, would never pay a thousand for anything, and wouldn't give him anything. I continued laughing loudly, and told him he was running a real scam. Then he said he was a detective calling to find out if we had been getting contacted by scammers.  I told him he was a scam.  He replied he was law enforcement.  I replied we get calls from scammers including him, and  we don't give out anything to anybody, we supply to the local food shelf only, and he wasn't going to get anything from us, no numbers, nothing!!! In fact our phone number is a 'do not call' number...He hung up.This is a typical scam probably the one where they want you to go get a money card for a certain amount and somebody will deliver a HUGE prize of stuff or money for your little bit of cash.... Yeh, Riiiiiiight!  we get a lot of calls....I laugh out LOUDLY alot!!
