A man with a foreign accent claims to be working for Norton AntiVirus. He told me someone was trying to hack my computer and he would help me by "scanning" it. Obviously scripted.. he kept repeating the same thing and started shouting in desperation when he knew I was going to hang up.

Got a call from  the number (647) 478-9555 . The caller had a South Asian accent. told that he was from norton antivirus  and wanted to run checks on my computer  as they were getting complains  that my  pc was sending spams.  and wanted me to  let their superior  control my system . I refused and  asked where their Local office was  and the address..  the guy hung up the phone.

Received a few calls from this number now.  I started to argue with him today, called him a scammer and he actually started to yell at me! He told me I was being hacked and for me to get to my PC since time was of the essence.

got the same call....saying we just noticed on our network that you are being hacked....I will need you to do this right away to stop it from happening.....Sure I say....what's your IP address so I can trace your location I ask and secure the line......caller hangs up....There has to be a way to stop these scams.  Caller was Long distance from Tel. (647) 478-9555.

Got the same kind of call as reported by others saying my computer was being hacked.  When I told the cretin that I don't own a computer, he became nasty and said that was not possible, that everyone has a computer.  He kept insisting that this was impossible and saying that I was lying,Very creepy and annoying!
