It won't cost you long distance if you're in the GTA, if you're outside, then it's not a local call.  Simple logic there chief

Actually, my friend sent a text for me to call him back at this particular #(647) 476-2995). IT IS A PRANK. I just got my phone bill and was charged long distance for calling this number even though when you google it, the joke site says there is no charge for calling these numbers.

I tried to politely hang up, he called back...and called back, and called back- I ended up arguing with him and no, he is not a nice guy- he is a pest and needs to stop calling when people tell him "no thank you, not interested".  I thought I had made it clear last year when he called about 10 times and I argiued with him then to stop calling us...but no...he's back GO AWAY GEORGE or whatever your name is!
